Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Deeply expressing deep anguish over the tragic loss of lives in the devastating fire in Malviya Nagar, conveyed offered condolences to the bereaved families, assuring them of support. She said her government firmly stands with them during this difficult time.

Lieutenant Governor Tarnajit Sandhu offered condolences to the bereaved families and assured them of a thorough investigation into the tragic incident.
Delhi Minister Ashish Sood, who visited the fire site, told reporters that under the supervision of the District Magistrate (DM), agencies and concerned departments have been directed to inspect such establishments across the area, and in case any building is found to violating norms of safety even to a small extent shall be sealed, upon shortcomings being verified and confirmed.

Meanwhile, the CM interacted with citizens from different parts of the national capital at the public hearing held at the Jan Seva Sadan.

She patiently heard their grievances and suggestions, immediately instructing the concerned officials to resolve the issues.
A large number of people arrived with personal, social and administrative issues. The CM stated that the public hearing was not merely a platform for registering complaints, but an important forum for strengthening trust, communication and accountability between the government and the people.

Citizens brought forward a range of issues related to the MCD, police, education, social welfare, revenue and other departments.
Accordingly, the CM sought detailed information from the officials concerned and directed them to ensure necessary action.
She instructed civic body officials to review pending matters on a priority basis and ensure appropriate solutions.

Gupta has said the government’s objective is not merely to formulate schemes, but to ensure that the benefits of governance effectively reach every citizen.
She further said that her government is committed to working in the spirit of Antyodaya and ensuring that relief, facilities and justice reach even the last person standing in society.
