In a video shared by the official Joy Awards social media handle, the Pathaan star expressed his happiness at being part of the event.
Reflecting on his earlier visits to Saudi Arabia, Shah Rukh said it was wonderful to witness how the ceremony has grown over the years, adding that it felt “more beautiful” and that it was “lovely to be back.”

The actor also spoke warmly about the appreciation he continues to receive from fans in the region. Calling the response “outstanding,” Shah Rukh said it was deeply heartening and respectful to see audiences in Saudi Arabia connect with his work.

Praising the warmth, kindness and hospitality of the people, he said he truly loved being there and always felt welcomed.
SRK hopes to return — this time for a holiday
Recalling that he had previously shot one of his films in Saudi Arabia, Shah Rukh revealed his desire to return to the country, not for work but for leisure.

He spoke highly of the locations, culture, people and food, sharing that while his last visit lasted nearly 12 days, he now hopes to come back for a proper holiday.

Congratulating him on five years of the Joy Awards, Shah Rukh described the event as spectacular and grand, expressing his joy at being part of the celebration.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film King, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.

On his 60th birthday last year, the makers unveiled a teaser showcasing a darker and more intense avatar of the actor.
Featuring high-octane action and gripping visuals, the teaser presented Shah Rukh with silver hair, sharp expressions and a brooding, ruthless persona.
One of the teaser’s most talked-about moments featured SRK delivering the chilling line: “Kitne khoon kiye, yaad nahi… bas unki aankhon mein ehsaas dekha ki ye unki aakhri saas hain. Aur main uski wajah.”
The teaser also subtly showed him holding a ‘King of Hearts’ card — a nod to his long-standing title — before concluding with the powerful line, “dar nahi deshath hu.”
The film is also reported to feature his daughter Suhana Khan, though details about the remaining cast and release date are yet to be announced.
