Grand spiritual festival at Puri
10th of Baisakh, 1344 Bengali era, was the auspicious day when Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnathdev received the divine command from Lord Jagannathdev to go and preach the Holy Name.
To secure maximum mileage and outreach, the central government has decided to organise a mega exhibition at Grand Road Puri during the Rath Yatra on “48 months of Transforming India”.
With lakhs of devotees reaching Puri for the world famous Car Festival of Lord Jagannath, the move is aimed at gaining optimum campaign on achievements of the central government.
The Mega Exhibition will be near Bholanath Vidyapitha, Puri from on Friday till 23 July. Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate the exhibition.

The Regional Outreach Bureau, Bhubaneswar, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting is organising it. Many Central Government Departments and PSUs will also participate in the said exhibition.
