Minor boy killed in landslide triggered due to rains in J&K
Rescue teams have so far not been able to trace his body. Reports said that two houses were also damaged due the landslide.
Landslides triggered by incessant rains on Wednesday forced the Jammu-Srinagar highway to close for safety reasons, an official said.
"Continuous rain in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district triggered landslides and shooting stones at some places on the highway," the traffic department official said.
The local Met department had issued an adverse weather advisory on April 3 forecasting three days of rain in the plains and snow in higher reaches.
