The chief judicial magistrate court has granted an interim bail to Mr Brijmohan Garg, the president of Darjeeling Chamber of Commerce (CoC), today under the
medical grounds.
“Under medical grounds, the CJM court today
granted an interim bail to
Brijmohan Garg as the reports presented to the court on Mr Brijmohan Garg&’s behalf confirmed that he is seriously ill,”
said the assistant public prosecutor, Mr Panjak Prasad.
Mr Garg was arrested on 11 September for his alleged connection to the arson at Takdah forest
bungalow.
Later, he was admitted to the hospital as he felt ill. 
Mr Garg would be
produced again at the court on 30 October, according to the court sources.
