Malda, 1 October
The counselling of the successful candidates of school service commission-northern region (SSC-NR) would commence from 3 October. Informing this, the SSC-NR Chairman Prof Abdul Wahab, said that those candidates who did not receive the counselling letter sent through speed-post, might download it from the
commission&’s website as  a passport to attend the
counselling.
Prof Wahab further said the panel of the successful candidates had already been dispatched to the offices of the district magistrates of the districts of North Bengal. They were requested to display those panels in the notice board of their offices.
“In case of Siliguri, the panel would be displayed in the office of the additional district magistrate,” Prof Wahab said.
He further informed that those candidates whose names figured in more than one category of the panel should be careful of the mixed serials of the vacancies.
“The vacancies have been displayed on the SSC&’s website. After consulting the list the successful candidates may make their choice of posting well in advance,” the SSC-NR Chairman informed.
“As we have to complete counselling in only six days and a large number of candidates would attend the counselling each day, an
individual cannot be given much time. Hence, the candidates are advised to note down the code number of the schools carefully so that they can make their choices immediately during the counselling,” Prof Wahab informed.
It has been learnt that the counselling would continue till 9 October but there would be no counselling on 4 October on account of Mahalaya.
