Hanuman Garhi in Ayodhya was built by Muslims, namaz was never offered there: Brijbhushan Sharan Singh

Former President of the Indian Wrestling Association and ex-BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh on Friday claimed that namaz was never offered at Hanuman Garhi in Ayodhya and claimed that the Hanuman Garhi temple was made by the Muslims.

Singh was addressing the media after honouring students as the chief guest at a talent award ceremony held on the premises of Nandani Nagar College in the Nawabganj area of Gonda, adjacent to Ayodhya.

Brijbhushan countered Swami Avimukteshwaranand’s statement blaming Modi and Yogi for the corruption in the Shri Ram temple. He categorically stated that PM Modi and CM Yogi have nothing to do with and are not connected to the corruption in the Shri Ram temple. He distanced himself from the Kar Seva announced by saints and devotees of Lord Krishna at Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura and refused to comment on it.

Singh also supported the Yogi government’s decision regarding the university of Samajwadi Party leader and former minister Azam Khan. On the issue of bulldozer action, he said that illegal buildings are being demolished. Advising Sonam Wangchuk to end the fast and protest, he said his message had spread across the country and had also reached the government, and that he should wait.

Regarding the controversial statement made by Maulana Jarjis on Lord Krishna, the former MP said that since the upcoming elections are around the corner, people with such a mentality would deliberately make statements to hurt social harmony.
