Sony has now launched its premium flagship Xperia XZ1 in India on Monday. It first unveiled the Sony Xperia XZ1 smartphone at the IFA 2017 in Berlin last month.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 features boasts of metal-unibody design just like its predecessor. The company isn’t following the bezel-less trend like Samsung, Apple, LG. The handset features a 5.2-inch full-HD HDR TRILUMINOS display X-Reality pro technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Xperia XZ1 is powered by high-end 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It runs Google’s latest Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

For cameras, it features a 19MP Sony Exmor RS camera with Motion Eye tech, with 3D scanning abilities, and Predictive Capture. The company claims that its Triple image sensing technology and 5-axis image stabilization is best-in-class. It can capture videos up to 4K resolution and super slow motion videos up to 960fps.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 is priced at Rs. 44,990 in India. It will be available through all online and offline retail stores across India starting Monday, September 25. Although, the phone comes in Moonlit Blue, Venus Pink, Warm Silver, and Black colours internationally, but Sony will only be selling the Black colour variant in India for now.
