On the completion of her government's one year in office, the chief minister asserted that her administration is not the one that indulges in just making promises or announcements but has proved to be the one that works to deliver measurable outcomes visible on ground.
Speaking at Todapur Village's Ramlila Maidan, where an event was held for unveiling these projects, Gupta stated that her government does not merely make announcements, but ensures timely completion of works done for public.
He has also sought his active intervention in the Rs 6856 crore alleged scam to hold a comprehensive investigation.
Chief Minister Gupta was present on ground zero, and inspected the cleaning work underway, while she also reviewed the report issued by the on-site laboratory for testing the river’s water.
The Chief Minister was responding to a question during the Question Hour in the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
The total funds of Rs 140 crore have been allocated by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG)and the Delhi government for river Yamuna cleaning since January out of which Rs 108.31 crores have been utilised, the Lok Sabha was informed on Thursday.
