Prof N C Panda, Vice-Chancellor of the university, formally inaugurated the programme in the presence of Nilamani Biswal, Director, FSSAI Eastern Region Office, Kolkata, Duryodhan Sethi, Finance Officer, CUO and Dr. Sanjay Kumar Pradhan, Head, Department of Dairy Science on the dais.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Narasingha Charan Panda, Vice-Chancellor (in-charge) of the university Prof. Atish Prashar, proffessor of Journalism & Mass Communication at Central University of South Bihar, Gaya was the resource person.
Delivering the welcome address, Prof Dr. Kiran Bala, In-charge, Women Cell, IIT Indore, underlined the need for collective efforts in creating gender-equitable spaces.
The conference was held at Patanjali Research Foundation and Patanjali University, Haridwar in collaboration with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and Bharuwa Agriscience.
The workshop focused on ways to maintain mental balance during stress, anxiety, and emergency situations.
With an aim to improve dietary habits and address nutrition challenges in the community, the District Integrated Child Development Services Scheme Cell, Imphal West, organised a one-day workshop on “Smart Nutrition, Strong Generations”.
The inaugural session was attended by Dr. Om Prakash, Assistant Director-in-Charge, RARI Ranikhet; Dr. Anil Kumar, Principal, Patanjali Ayurveda College; Dr. Girish K.J., Vice-Principal, Patanjali Ayurveda College; and Dr. Tarun Kumar, Research Officer, RARI Ranikhet.
The event was organised by the Centre for Tribal Studies, NLUO, in collaboration with the Right to Food Campaign, SAATHII, LibTech India, Aviyan, Rupayaan, and other civil society organisations.
The workshop is envisaged as a collaborative platform to strengthen digital solutions in the Ayush sector and move towards a comprehensive, centralised, and interoperable digital framework, an official release issued here said.
