On BJP-led NDA's position on the matter, the BJP leader said that they welcome the private investment and fully support the growth and success of the Vizhinjam Port.
He said that Union ministers from Kerala need to answer for this neglect.

The Adani group has obtained an order from the Kerala High Court asking that construction be allowed to re-start.
