On Friday, a Division Bench, comprising Justices MC Tripathi and Anees Gupta, issued the ruling after UPPSC filed a special appeal against the Single Bench's decision.
The Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (RO/ARO) Examination–2023, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), was held smoothly, safely, and in a single shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Sunday across all 75 districts of the state.
Responding to the requests of students protesting in Prayagraj, the examination will now be conducted in a single day rather than over two days, as originally planned for December 7 and 8.
The decision has been taken on the initiative of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who had taken cognizance of the students' protest earlier.
The UP Chief Minister blamed the erstwhile goverments for allowing the real talents to remain idle saying that large scale corruption and discrimination crippled the trusts of the youths.
