Police investigating the alleged embezzlement of offerings at the Ram Temple conducted a five-hour interrogation of three jailed accused on Sunday as part of their ongoing probe.
The accused named in the case include Ramshankar Yadav (alias Tinnu), who is associated with temple management, along with Trust employees Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, Manish Yadav, Karunesh Pandey, Ramashankar Mishra, and Avinash Shukla. Retired bank employee Subhash Srivastava has also been named as an accused.
The accused has been identified as Baldev Singh, 60, a native of Ghodi village in Haryana's Palwal district.
The accused was arrested after the woman, filed a complaint alleging fraud, sexual exploitation and coercion at the Mudha Pandey police station.
During the ongoing operation, officials identified three madrasas allegedly functioning without registration from the Madrasa Board. Following verification, the administration sealed the institutions.
