India has registered 105 new Covid-19 cases during the past 24 hours, the Union Health ministry said on Tuesday.
A total of 761 people tested positive for Covid-19 in India during the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Friday.
The total caseload rose to 4,50,15,843, including the 541 JN.1 Covid variant cases.

The ministry stressed that more than 70 per cent of the deaths occurred due to comorbidities.
While claims settled by LIC relate to Life insurance policies taken by policy holders for deaths due to all causes, the news reports conclude that this would imply Covid deaths were underreported, the Ministry said.
A total of 12,35,471 tests were conducted across the country in last 24 hours, taking the total to over 75.81 crore.
