The minister also said that the new laws will replace the fear of ‘What will happen if I file an FIR’ with the confidence that ‘Filing an FIR will lead to immediate justice.’
Shah stated that the implementation of the three new criminal laws, introduced under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will enhance the efficiency and accountability of the police at the grassroots level.
“Instructed senior officials present to strictly adhere to timelines prescribed for upgrading and augmenting the infrastructure and manpower required for their smooth implementation,” stated the post.
Sinha was presiding over the implementation ceremony of the new Laws in J&K, at the Police Headquarters in Srinagar.
