US troops in northern Syria will no longer be near the border with Turkey, nor will they support Ankara's "long-planned operation" into the country, the White House said in its statement.
Israel army's statement came after overnight air strikes in Syria hit positions of pro-Iranian forces in eastern Syria, killing 18 fighters, according to a war monitor.
