These trains, run by 31 trains of Northern Railway (NR), 158 trains of North Central Railway (NCR), and 55 trains of North Eastern Railway (NER), served around 4.5 lakh passengers.

On the Mumbai–Goa (Konkan) corridor, daily and weekly specials are being operated between Mumbai CSMT / LTT and Karmali / Madgaon, covering major stops along the way and providing additional seating and sleeper options.
These special trains have been scheduled to ensure seamless travel, comfortable long-distance connectivity, and timely arrivals for participants attending the multi-day cultural immersion programme.
The passenger special trains are being run to accommodate the surge of passengers and devotees visiting Puri for the holy occasion, including taking holy dips and participating in the rituals connected with Kartik Purnima.
Tomorrow, on 23rd October, 17 special trains are scheduled to operate from major stations in Delhi.
The SCR stated that the Secunderabad-Hazrat Nizamuddin will be operated on October 28 and November 2, while the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Secunderabad will run on October 30 and November 4.
These holding areas are provided with UTS ticket counters, toilets, ATVMs, Catering stalls, May I Help You Booths, PA system, etc. Adequate railway staff are guiding and helping the passengers.
