To manage the heavy rush of devotees traveling to Puri for the auspicious Kartik Purnima festival and the associated Boita Bandana rituals, East Coast Railway (ECoR) is operating passenger special trains connecting Brahmapur and Puri for three days from Tuesday.

The passenger special trains are being run to accommodate the surge of passengers and devotees visiting Puri for the holy occasion, including taking holy dips and participating in the rituals connected with Kartik Purnima.

These passenger special trains will have stoppage at Jagannathpur, Chatrapur, Ganjam, Humma, Rambha, Khallikot, Chilika, Balugaon, Gangadharpur, Kuhuri, Kaluparaghat, Bhusandpur, Nirakarpur, Tapang, Kaipadar road, Haripurgram, Motori, Kanas Road, Delang, Biropurushottampur, Sakhigopal, and Malatipatpur, between Brahmapur and Puri, bypassing the Khurda Road junction.
