The CBI has submitted its findings after three years of probe before a special court naming Malik and five others as accused.

At a program here on Saturday, Dr Malik while addressing a gathering lauded the Modi government for their stance on Kashmir in the form of abrogation of Article 370.

Governor has in his detailed reply to Omar reiterated that no changes in the procedural rules governing the issue of PR certificates will ever be done without larger consultations with all stakeholders.
In a letter to Malik, Omar said that the State Administrative Council (SAC) is "unilaterally" bringing changes in the working of institutions and procedures, a practice that is against the principles and spirit of democracy and participative governance.
Cautioning the Governor against the attempts to “reinvent” everything in Jammu and Kashmir, Khan said that the Governor rule is a transitory arrangement and he (Satyapal Malik) should avoid disrupting the existing laws and procedures in the state.
