Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta nominated Satish Upadhyay, the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Malviya Nagar constituency as the vice-chairman of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).
Ahead of the Delhi assembly elections, BJP nominee from Malviya Nagar Satish Upadhyay shared a roadmap for the development of the constituency to be implemented if his party is elected to power.
Highlighting that the theme for World Environment Day 2024 is ‘planet versus plastics’, he emphasised the critical role a healthy environment plays in the well-being of all living beings on earth.
While in college, Upadhyay joined the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and contested the DUSU elections as an ABVP candidate.
He said that among those who were promoted today, one employee, Rajesh Singh, Junior Engineer, got a promotion after 31 years.
