Salman Khan steals the spotlight at the Joy Awards in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, attending as a special guest for the second time.
Athletes had to appear in Riyadh to stay eligible to obtain Olympic quotas for their respective national teams even if they didn’t lift in the competition.

Riyadh could lose half of its oil income, which contributes about 70 percent of public revenues, as oil prices have fallen two-thirds since the start of the year.
The two countries are at loggerheads since Saudi oil facilities came under missile attacks in September. Saudi Arabia and the US were quick to blame Iran for the attack.
The two sides would also sign an agreement to establish a Strategic Partnership Council to coordinate on key issues. The council will be headed by Prime Minister Modi and the crown prince and it will meet every two years.
Khan emphasised that Pakistan did not want a conflict between Iran and Saudi Arabia while recognising that it was a complex and complicated issue.
The purpose of the visit was to mediate between the two countries, the official added.
The visit came amid heightened tensions in the region between the US and Iran, especially after the recent attacks on two major Saudi oil facilities that the US and Saudi governments have blamed on Iran, Saudi Arabia's arch-rival.
