As per the reports, for 2020 Republic Day parade, a total of 56 tableaux proposals, 32 from States/UTs and 24 from central ministries/departments, were received.
West Bengal Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Tapas Roy said that the BJP would get a 'befitting reply' for the move in the near future.
The tableau proposal made by the state was rejected for the Republic Day Parade this year after the expert committee made a few objections.
