Rajnath Singh also highlighted the positive outcome of Centre's 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' mission in defence sector.
"The current relationship is driven by twin congruences of shared values and aligned interests, which is a guarantee for long sustainability and robustness of ties,” he said.
PM Modi was received by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on his arrival at the National War Memorial.
A cash prize of Rs 10,000, a medal and a certificate were given to each of the 100 winners.
