While flagging off 2,500 bags of wheat seeds to the state, the Chief Minister said that Punjab has played a historic role in achieving the goal of agricultural self-reliance in independent India.
Calling the Centre’s initial relief package of Rs 1,600 crore a “grave injustice” to the people of Punjab, Gandhi noted that the state’s estimated losses stand at nearly Rs 20,000 crore.

She said the Delhi government has decided to contribute Rs 5 crore to the Punjab Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
