The National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers has announced that 27 lakh electricity employees from all over the country will go to a day-long token strike against privatization of the sector in Uttar Pradesh.
Delhi Power Minister Ashish Sood, on Sunday, asked the Power Department and all stakeholders to start implementation of the Summer Action Plan 2025 immediately to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Though West Bengal is a power surplus state, a leaky distribution system comes in the way of consumers from reaping its full benefit, power department sources stated.
