Rajnath reiterates resolve to reclaim Gilgit-Baltistan

"Our aim is to implement the resolution unanimously passed in Indian Parliament on February 22, 1994 to reclaim remaining parts of Kashmir from the illegal occupation of Pakistan," the defence minister said at the ‘Shaurya Diwas’ celebrations held in Srinagar to commemorate the 75th year of air landed operations of Indian Army at Budgam Airport.

Many protesters have been seriously injured but the number of protesters who died has not been disclosed yet by the authorities.

PoK authorities have said that the toll could increase as some areas in the Neelum Valley were still inaccessible due to heavy snowfall, while weather officials forecast another spell of snowfall beginning on Friday.

“There is a parliamentary resolution that entire Jammu and Kashmir is a part of India. If Parliament wants that area (PoK) should also be ours…if we get any direction, we will definitely take appropriate action,” he said at a press conference here.
