The Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Amulya was commissioned at Goa Port on 19 December last year, said coast guard officials.
The event was successfully organised by Paradip Port Authority (PPA) in association with the Major Ports Sports Control Board.
The 14-km race concluded at Gopabandhu Stadium amid enthusiastic support from residents of the port township and various organisations. A total of 336 runners participated, including 280 men and 56 women.
For the ninth consecutive year, the port has crossed the 100 MMT mark, clocking 100.15 MMT and registering a year-on-year growth of 4.78%. It achieved the feat 12 days earlier than last fiscal, port officials said on Friday.
The port has exhibited 5.03% growth in cargo volume compared to the previous fiscal year as of 26 September 2025.
