Legendary tribal leader and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Dishom Guru Shibu Soren has been posthumously awarded the Padma Bhushan for his contribution to public service and the tribal rights movement.
The filmmaker recently took to his Instagram, and shared a picture of a dolphin. He also penned a long note in the caption, as he spoke about the AI project.
Padma Bhushan awardee Shekhar Kapur is coming out in support of Artificial Intelligence in the content business.
"Through his music, he built bridges between people and cultures. He would have been overjoyed to be acknowledged this way," said his daughter.
The Padma Awards, namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, are amongst the highest civilian awards of the country.
The singer was honoured with Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award ahead of Republic Day this year.
"India is a part of me. I carry it with me wherever I go. (Unlike this beautiful award which I will keep somewhere safe)," said Pichai.
The trio, all settled in the US now, are among 17 persons who have been named for the prestigious Padma Bhushan award.
Born on July 30, 1973, in Faridabad, Haryana, Sonu is not just a brilliant singer but also a noted music director. Though he predominantly worked in Hindi and Kannada language films, he has also sung in Odia, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Nepali, Malayalam, Kannada, Bhojpuri and other Indian languages.
