Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Thursday launched the inaugural issue of Vidhan-Chetna, the quarterly journal of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, along with the release of the Proceedings of the Central Legislative Assembly (1924-1930) published across 89 volumes.

Recalling the rich history of the Delhi Assembly, Birla noted that the chamber once echoed with the voices of freedom fighters and national leaders such as Lala Lajpat Rai, Madan Mohan Malaviya, Gopal Krishna Gokhale, and Tej Bahadur Sapru.
The committee will submit its report as early as possible, Speaker Birla said.
