During his three-day visit to Kuppam, the former chief minister repeatedly pointed out that while the YSRCP was being allowed to hold meetings and roadshows, all restrictions were being placed only on the Opposition TDP.

Naidu along with his spouse Usha today visited the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya located in the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML) and spent 90 minutes there, keenly watching various components of the audio-visual presentations on India's journey to the present.
Naidu reiterated that India will further strengthen its historic friendship with Qatar and agreed that a high-level engagement should be sustained, including an early visit of Qatar's Amir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the country.
The Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today called upon exporters to explore newer markets to give a fillip to exports and maintain the economic momentum. He further said that the SEZs along with Export Oriented Units (EOUs) contribute about one-thirds of the country’s exports.
"I am so happy to see the patience shown by Deputy Chairman(Harivansh)and Members, cutting across the party lines. The Ministers who piloted the replies to the Bill were sharp but at the same time brief. I felt happy and also made a note to include it in my memoirs," Naidu said.
In his farewell speech, Naidu said, "A vast pool of considerable legislative experience, domain knowledge, Parliamentary skills and proven performance in the House is retiring. It is not often that such a pool of performers retires in one go.
Referring to the first part of the Budget session, he said that the first half had a good productivity of around 101.40 per cent, adding that the members should attend the proceedings of the House to make it more productive.
