Miranda House organised GNOSIS 2026, its annual philosophy festival, with participation from Delhi University students and a series of academic and student-led activities.

Delivering the Platinum Jubilee address at the Miranda House, Delhi University on "Role of Women in Indian Parliament", Jagdeep Dhankar said, “The role of women in Parliament is enormous.”
The rankings covered 13 categories, including overall, university, colleges, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medical, architecture, dental, research, agriculture, and innovation.

Colleges like Miranda House, Daulat Ram College, Kirori Mal College, Lady Shri Ram College have all witnessed vacant seats for the EWS category, especially in major courses like English and Political Science.
The DU had released on 27 June night the first cut-off list for admissions to its various UG courses in its 63 colleges for the academic session 2019-20.
With the DU's major colleges like Miranda House and Hindu College already witnessing a near-total first cut-off admission in their various courses, many students seemed to be disappointed that they may not even get the chance for any subsequent cut-offs.
Kabir Singh, which also stars actor Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, is receiving huge appreciation.
With the high cut-offs, many students returned home disappointed, complaining about not getting the course of their choice and also about the tedious documentation process in the colleges.
