He was addressing the first edition of the four-day Biannual Naval Commanders’ Conference 2024 that concluded last evening. The conference is an institutional forum that enables deliberations on important maritime security issues at the military-strategic level.
The SRCG will enhance the capability of the Indian Navy and the Indian Coast Guard to accurately engage small targets that pose a threat to ships in an asymmetric environment, both by day and night, the Ministry of Defence said.
