RudraM-II passes crucial test as India sharpens indigenous strike capability
The successful RudraM-II trials validated multiple critical systems and highlighted collaboration between DRDO laboratories, the Indian Air Force and industry partners.

The Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW), Ministry of Defence, will organize a two-day National Conclave-2025 on September 29–30 around the theme “Viksit Bharat and Ex-Servicemen Welfare.” The conclave will be inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
The event will bring together key stakeholders to strengthen nationwide efforts for the reintegration and welfare of India’s veterans. Secretary (DESW) Dr Niten Chandra will also be present, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

Serving as a platform for meaningful dialogue, the conclave will enable representatives from Rajya Sainik Boards (RSBs) and Zila Sainik Boards (ZSBs) across the country to engage in grassroots-level discussions. These deliberations will focus on sharing best practices, strengthening support systems, and ensuring that welfare schemes reach every veteran more effectively.

In addition to policy discussions, the conclave will feature a recognition ceremony. The Defence Minister will felicitate distinguished individuals as well as top-performing RSBs and ZSBs for their outstanding contributions to ex-servicemen welfare.
