The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), through the IndianInstitute of Millets Research (IIMR), Hyderabad, is providingextensive support for millet research and development in Odisha topromote value addition and export of millets, the Minister added.
A research project will focus on giving direction to enhance the presence of millets in the food basket in Odisha, which is rich in natural resources, water, and soil but still, poor in productivity.
