ITA claims registered tea gardens follow FSSAI norms

The Indian Tea Association (ITA) has claimed that all the stakeholders in the value chain, namely producers, buyers, packeteers are responsible law abiding entities providing the Indian consumer with a safe and sustainable cup of tea.

Options before mainstream media

While media is a business and has bills to pay like all businesses, it is not just any business. Unless content curators drive the company, the knowledge – as opposed to merely information – space which is up for grabs across the Indian media landscape cannot be occupied.

SC seeks Centre’s reply on PIL filed by journalists’ bodies on job loss, wage cuts in media during lockdown

The PIL has sought a direction to all persons publishing newspapers or engaged with media work including digital media and employing journalists and non-journalists for this purpose to treat all termination of service notices issued, resignation from services received from employees pursuant to a request from the employers whether oral or in writing, all wage reductions, all directions to go on leave without pay, taking place after the announcement of the 25 lockdown as suspended with immediate effect until further orders.
