The horrific incident took place in Guna city of Madhya Pradesh and its disturbing CCTV footage came to light today. The police have arrested the accused identified as Pappu on the basis of the CCTV footage and complaints lodged against him by several animal lovers and animal welfare organizations.
The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Devendra Kumar, a resident of Tijara in Alwar district, Rajasthan.
Based on one such complaint, the Anti Extortion and Kidnapping Cell of Crime Branch nabbed 36-year-old fraudster, Mukeem Ayyub Khan from Rohini.
According to police, the deceased was identified as 32-year-old Mukesh, a resident of Gopal Nagar, Najafgarh.
In the first incident, the man was found dead under Masoodpur Flyover with his clothes having blood stains. There were visible stab and cut marks on his chest and abdomen areas, the police said.
During inquiry, it was found that the man had left the office at around 3 pm in his car without informing his colleagues. Calls to him from his family and friends went unanswered. His last location was traced to the Geeta Colony Flyover.
