State Rural Development Minister Virendra Kanwar said the department had sent the proposal for the second tranche under MNREGA along with the utilization certificate to the Centre government and the funds would be released soon.
For the financial year 2020-21, a sum of Rs 31,493 crore has already been released which is more than 50 per cent of the budget estimate of the current Financial Year.
The current allocation is down by more than 13 percent of the total estimated expenditure for 2019-20 which was at Rs 71,001.81 crore.
