The policy is a step forward for making land bank available for major urbanisation and industrialisation purposes. As the land owners will be partners in the development process, the policy aims at offering maximum benefit to them by linking the allotment of land with the cost of raw land.
DDA gave its final approval to additional development control (ADC) norms for areas notified under its ambitious land pooling policy.
In a bid to attract companies relocating from China, CM Rupani came up with plans of land pooling and also said that companies who are currently operating in other counties like US or China and would like to relocate, are welcome to shift to Gujarat.
