On December 2, 2019, a woman registered a complaint against an auto driver for sexual misconduct after she hired his auto-rickshaw from Kashmere Gate.
The passenger was retrieved from tracks and was sent to the nearest hospital around 12:04 pm after police clearance, a DMRC spokesperson said.
In the hospital, brother of the deceased Jitendra told the police that on the day of incident, one person, namely, Gulfam had taken his brother Rinku from his house at around 11 pm on his bike. Later, Gulfam returned at about 12.30 am and informed that he along with Rinku met with an accident at Old Wazirabad Bridge and Rinku was lying injured.
The incident took place in the evening near the Kashmere Gate Metro Station. The police recovered her body.
