Apparently irked by the demand for a share in power raised by a section of the Congress in the State, the DMK, which was initially inclined to seal the deal with the Congress first, is yet to form a committee to carry on the tough task of seat sharing with alliance partners.
On the speculation that some more parties are entering the DMK-led alliance, she said, “Certainly, there is a possibility of a few more parties joining us. But, who would get accommodated will be decided by Chief Minister MK Stalin. He will announce it at the appropriate time.”
Painting the EC and Modi government in black, the protests were also a show of strength and solidarity among the allies of the DMK-led Secular Progressive Front, comprising the Congress, VCK, Left Parties, MDMK, and Muslim parties, and others.
