Both the countries condemned the dastardly terrorist attack on innocent civilians on 22 April 2025 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, during the 17th Meeting of the India-France Joint Working Group (JWG) on Counter Terrorism (CT), which was held in Paris, France, on September 11.
Several key issues were deliberated upon, setting the stage for improved coordination and more cohesive efforts in both security operations and humanitarian missions.
The two countries held the 13th meeting of the Joint Working Group on Counter Terrorism (CT) cooperation and the sixth round of consultations on UN related issues in Moscow on 19-20 december.
An Indian delegation comprising officers from the Department of Commerce and other Ministries and organisations held the JWG meeting with the Qatari side in Doha on July 10, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry said on Friday.
