In a jolt to the Aam Aadmi Party ahead of the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, former AAP MLA from Mundka assembly constituency, Dr Sukhbir Dalal and six-time member of the Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee, Sardar Balbir Singh on Saturday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Ahead of the assembly elections, three time MLA and Congress leader Veer Singh Dhingan switched over to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday. This marks the fourth such major joining in the AAP as earlier, BJP leaders BB Tyagi, Brahm Singh Tanwar and Congress leader Zubair Ahmed had also joined the party.
Coming as it does barely a year away from the Delhi Assembly elections the development is being seen as a big morale booster to the BJP in Delhi.
