The 23-year-old woman was reportedly stabbed multiple times by her jilted lover following while she was about to leave after meeting him in a cab.
The accused was repeatedly threatening the girl with acid attack ever since she broke up her 6-year-old friendship with him.
Over a period of time he extorted Rs 7 lakh from her with a threat to post more such pics on social media. So much so that fed up his demand, the victim eventually approached the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal with a complaint.
They decided to get married and their parents also gave their consent.
The 20-year-old accused Ganga Prasad, is a resident of Bakshi ka Purwa village. He has been arrested by the police.
