Multiple wings of J&K Police, including the CIK, State Investigation Agency (SIA), and others, have been investigating the white-collar terror case in which some local doctors were found to be involved.
The explosives were seized from the same module, which is believed to be behind the recent blast near Delhi’s Red Fort.
The move comes after some of its doctors were allegedly part of the 'Doctor Terror Module' of the Jaish-e-Mohammad wing and were implicated in the November 10 Red Fort blast case which claimed at least 13 lives.
They were also carrying AK47 assault rifles, IEDs, grenades, pistols, satellite phone, wireless communication system, and GPS.
While stating this on Tuesday, additional director general of police, law and order, Navdeep Singh Virk said that intensive checking is being carried out in all trains passing through the railway stations in the State.
The terrorists have been identified as Sajjad Bhat and Tauseef and they were linked to the 14 February Pulwama attack that claimed the lives of 44 CRPF jawans.
“During this year, we have been able to neutralize 86 terrorists so far and our operations continue in the same manner. Nearly 20 of them have been apprehended. We've also been able to bring back many of them to the mainstream,” said Lt Gen Ranbir Singh.
