Indian youth cricketer Musheer Khan, who was going to play Irani Cup at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, was injured in a road accident on Purvanchal Expressway on Friday night.
According to the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), a call was received about the incident that took place near Billa Dargah in the Nabi Karim area. Soon, three fire tenders were rushed to the spot for rescue operation.

The police said a PCR call was received regarding the incident wherein the caller said that three people came in a car and fired at his nephew, Vikas and fled leaving the vehicle behind. The injured was shifted to the hospital, it added.
According to the police, one person has been detained in connection with the incident.
At around 3:56 am, the police received a call about the crane veering off its course and colliding with a house on MB Road, stated police.
The injured were rushed to NIMS hospital located on the highway and Jaipur's SMS hospital where the condition of passengers was reportedly serious, the Shahpura police station said.
The injured has been identified as Saurabh Patial, the main accused in the attack on former Congress MLA Bamber Thakur.
