The Budget size rises from ₹1.65 lakh crore in 2025-26 to ₹1.72 lakh crore this year. Capital expenditure has been pegged at ₹26,500 crore, reaffirming the state’s emphasis on asset creation and long-term economic capacity.
Addressing people at an event in North East Delhi while presenting her government’s one-year report card, Gupta said her position carried great responsibility, not privilege, and that in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), leaders are entrusted with responsibilities.

The Chief Minister informed that this ambitious project would develop three new corridors totaling 16 kilometers in length, including 13 metro stations.
