Leaders at the East Asia Summit (EAS) reaffirmed their strong commitment to multilateralism based on international law, including the Charter of the United Nations, which is the ''indispensable foundation'' of a more peaceful and prosperous world.
The week-long port call includes high-level bilateral meetings, joint professional and cultural exchanges, and a sea exercise aimed at boosting interoperability between the two forces.
