Pfaff said that Netaji, who spent much of his life in forced exile while fighting for India's freedom, would have been deeply distressed that his remains are still kept outside his motherland more than 80 years after his death and 78 years after India became free.
The artefact, which is of national significance for India, will be a rare gift for the entire country at a time when the nation is going to commemorate the sacrifices of the brave sons of the country for the freedom struggle and the history of the movements conducted at an international pedestal.
On January 26, the tableau will take part in the prestigious national event alongside tableaux from 17 other states on Delhi's 'Kartavya Path' (formerly Rajpath).
