Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated four laning of the Kamakhyanagar-Duburi section of NH-53 here in the presence of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
In his address, Amit Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government was committed to protecting the rights of every poor and middle class person of the country.
Vij said, "The situation in Nuh is under control. About 44 FIRs have been registered in connection with the violence and 116 people have been arrested so far.
Shah expressed his gratitude and remembered the soldiers who sacrificed their lives to uphold and safeguard the integrity of the nation.
A police officer at the Chopra police station said they have started investigations and that the body was sent to the Islampur Sub Divisional hospital for post-mortem.
He said that the whole world was concerned about how India -- a huge densely populated country with a federal structure -- would fight this pandemic.
Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Narendra Singh Tomar, Ram Vilas Paswan and Piyush Goel attended the meeting.
