Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) founder-president Raj Thackeray on Tuesday lashed out against RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat for his remarks on the language issue during his two-day interaction in Mumbai over the weekend, which was also strongly criticised by the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and chief Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut earlier.

Uddhav Thackeray himself will be present when copies of the GR will be burnt, according to Shiv Sena sources.
In a related development, the Tribhasha Sutra Anti-Third Language Coordination Committee, formed by the Marathi Study Centre, will also organise another march at Azad Maidan on July 7, in which Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will participate.
He clarified that class 1 students would now have the option to choose other languages instead of Hindi.
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Saturday invited Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray to join hands in opposing the imposition of Hindi in Maharashtra. Uddhav accepted Raj's offer, albeit with certain conditions, which he spelt out clearly.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday hit out at the Opposition for criticizing the move to make Hindi a mandatory third language for students in classes 1 to 5 in Marathi and English-medium schools across the state.
Prakash wrote, "Don't impose your Hindi language on us. It is not about hating another language; it is about protecting our mother tongue and our cultural identity with self-respect."
